10th Grade, Saratoga High School

Aarav is a high school sophomore with a unique mix of technical skills, leadership, and community service. As captain of his school’s Lincoln-Douglas Debate team, he’s grown the program nearly fivefold. A dedicated member of the marching band, he combines discipline and creativity in his performances and leadership. On the FTC robotics team, he develops coding solutions for complex challenges. Beyond technology, Aarav volunteers teaching math and English to children in low-income communities, empowering the next generation through education.

Maxime Sobrier
Maxime Sobrier

10th Grade, Saratoga High School

Maxime is a high school sophomore with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and software engineering, a passion he has developed through active participation in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics since seventh grade. A native speaker of French, Mandarin, and English, Maxime serves as the treasurer of his high school’s FLUENT Translation Club and has volunteered over 200 hours in translation and online English tutoring. Additionally, he is an Eagle Scout, reflecting his commitment to leadership and community service.

Ashley Dickerson

9th Grade, Harker High School

Ashley combines her passion for STEM and robotics with a commitment to creativity and human connection. She is proficient in Mandarin, and enjoys writing, speech competitions and art. In addition, Ashley has spent many years singing, dancing, and playing piano, sharing her musical talents to bring joy to residents at local retirement homes.

Jerry Dickerson

9th Grade, Harker High School

Jerry is a high school freshman with passions for math, coding, robotics, artificial Intelligence, and physics. His dream is to create innovations that make a difference in the lives of others. Since he was five, he has been a part of a Loving Hearts group, playing the piano and GuZheng at local retirement homes. He is proficient in Mandarin, and enjoys creating poetry and competing in robotics, debate, chess, and many sports.
